Radio Synergie: Capacity Building and Content Sharing Platform
The Embassy Public Affairs Section (PAS) Abidjan launched the Radio Synergie project in partnership with the Union of Proximity Radios (URPCI) and technical partner Studio Mozaik to train fifty community radios throughout Cote d’Ivoire.. Radio broadcasters are being trained on how to produce and edit radio programs that focus on U.S. Mission Abidjan’s four strategic priorities of good governance, inclusive economic growth, strengthening the health sector, and security sector reform. The journalists will also contribute programming to a content sharing platform that is managed by technical partner Studio Mozaik. Radios will be able to download available content for broadcast in their community and they will be expected to contribute weekly programs to the platform for others in the network. At the project’s completion, Studio Mozaik will hand over the content platform to URPCI who will make the platform available to all proximity radios in Cote d’Ivoire.
