The President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), is the largest United States Government program in Cote d’Ivoire, dedicating nearly $50 million dollars (US) a year to increase the capacity of Ivoirian institutions and individuals to respond to the devastating effects inflicted by the HIV/AIDS virus.  The PEPFAR NewsCentre provides comprehensive information about this unprecedented program and the progress being made in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Cote d’Ivoire.  You will find here all of the latest news and developments from the program as it rapidly expands throughout the country.  There are also fact sheets, background information, and useful resources for becoming better acquainted with the diverse work that PEPFAR is doing and the many fronts on which it is working to stem the tide of this destructive virus in Cote d’Ivoire.
