Rapid Response Fund for LGBT people
Earlier this week, the Elton John AIDS Foundation and PEPFAR through the International HIV/AIDS Alliance (The Alliance) launched the Rapid Response Fund application process. The Fund provides small, emergency grants assistance ($5,000 – $20,000) to target projects that support LGBT people in countries with high HIV burden.
The Rapid Response Fund, which will work closely with UNAIDS and other partners, is part of our joint and steadfast effort to collaborate with community leaders, civil society and service providers – leaving no one behind in the HIV/AIDS response. The call is open on a rolling basis.
This is one of our many commitments to support Key Populations. To assist with any queries you may receive in country, we have prepared the attached summary of the Rapid Response Fund, the Elton John Deep Engagement grants, the Key Population Investment Fund, and the Global Equality Fund.
Contact information for each program is also included in the attachment, should there be additional questions.
