Fulbright Researcher Elizabeth Jacob discusses women and social change in Côte d’Ivoire
Public Affairs Section (PAS) Abidjan’s Hello, America! radio program featured Fulbright Researcher Elizabeth Jacob, a PhD candidate in African History conducting archival research in Côte d’Ivoire. The program was done in partnership with Radio Al Bayane, reaching thousands nationwide, as well as a live studio audience of more than 50 university students. Fulbright Researcher Jacob talked about the relationship between women’s practices of public motherhood and sociopolitical change in Côte d’Ivoire.
