Embassy Commemorates Martin Luther King Jr. with Day of Service

A delegation of Embassy’s staff, students and teachers from The International Community School of Abidjan (ICSA) organized on January 19 Martin Luther King  Jr. a Day of Service at Le Petit Baobab, a primary school in the Abobo neighborhood of Abidjan.

The delegation spent the day working with students and teachers at the school.  The volunteers from the Embassy and ICSA helped the students with sports and games, drawing and painting as well as reading.

The day concluded with a musical concert by the volunteers. PAO Russell Brooks donated books and other school materials to the students of Le Petit Baobab on behalf of the Embassy.
