The American Center started a three months training in robotics with twenty high school students from underserved communities in Abidjan. Linda Goodman, the Executive Office Management Specialist (OMS) opened the session introducing African American women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) in the United States and provided a brief presentation how coding is important in the process of strategic thinking. Bah Mahmoud, the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Country Director, conducted the practical session of the STEM with the participants. They mounted three Mindstroms EV3 robots, which will be coded and programmed next week.
